The brief
We were asked by Wellgosh to produce a video to promote the Spring collection from Oregon outdoor experts, Nike ACG. As the name suggests, Nike’s All Conditions Gear is designed to withstand whatever the elements can throw at them. The only problem was, Britain was still in the midst of a pandemic lockdown, and access to outside activities was severely limited. How do you promote outdoor gear to people who can’t go outdoors?
How we did it
In true Nike ACG style we decided to face the conditions head on. We used the lockdown as the basis for our creative and produced a spoof educational film to show people how to approach going outside again, when they were finally allowed to do so. Our tongue-in-cheek film had strong 80s public service vibes, and saw ‘Tony’ being reintroduced to the great outdoors after months in lockdown. Clad in some top-notch Nike ACG gear of course.
